ClipHut at Dutch Design Week 2025 – Insights into the next generation of modular shelving

An in-depth look back at a special week

Dutch Design Week 2025 is behind us – and we're still processing all the impressions, conversations, and encounters. It was a week full of exchange, inspiration, and genuine curiosity. And above all: a moment to pause and remember why we develop ClipHut in the first place.

Premiere: The new ClipHut collection

For the first time, we were able to present our new ClipHut shelving system live – with further developed connections, new modular functions and a clean design language that allows spaces to be structured in a variety of ways. 
A collection that has grown without losing its roots. Furniture that grows with you, adapts – and remains. In function, form, and attitude.

Direct exchange – and honest feedback

What particularly moved us was the many conversations with you – visitors, designers, families, architects – who openly shared, asked questions, tried things out and contributed their ideas.
The personal reactions to our system, the "aha" moment when putting it together, the interest in durable materials and the desire for adaptable, high-quality design – all of this made this exhibition special for us.

And to all the designers with whom we had the opportunity to exchange ideas – for shared thoughts, courageous questions and honest feedback.

Now we're back in the studio – fulfilled, grounded, and full of new energy. Dutch Design Week was more than just an exhibition for us. It was an echo of what drives us: designing spaces that change with you. And a system that can last for generations.

What comes next?

The Dutch Design Week was not just a look back – but also a look ahead.
Behind the scenes, we are already working on completing our new ClipHut collection – with new colors, features and details that offer even more freedom in design.

In parallel, a digital configurator is being developed, which will soon allow the modular shelving system to be planned directly in the browser – individually, intuitively and with just a few clicks.

A piece of Dutch Design Week to take away

In addition to our shelving system, we also presented the limited-edition T-shirt collection at Dutch Design Week – designed using the assembly instructions for our system, fairly produced, made from certified organic cotton and limited to 62 pieces.

Each T-shirt is numbered and bears the name of a person who supported ClipHut during its development phase. As a small bonus, all shirts include a €15 voucher for our online shop.
